Privacy Policy — Learn All
Learn All ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
What we collect
- *Topic text you enter. When you create a course, the topic you type is sent to our backend (Firebase Cloud Functions) and to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the course. The resulting course — including the topic text — is saved in Firestore linked to your user ID.
- *Apple Sign In info. Sign In with Apple is optional. If you choose to sign in, your Apple ID's email and name (only if you choose to share them) are stored in your Firebase Auth profile. You can also use the app anonymously.
- *Course data (in the cloud). Courses, lessons, quiz results, and progress are stored in *Firestore (Google Cloud) linked to your Firebase Auth user ID. This lets you access your data across devices.
- *Subscription status. When you subscribe via Apple StoreKit, our backend verifies the purchase using Apple's signed JWS receipt and keeps your subscription active across devices. We never see your payment method or card details — Apple handles billing.
- *Anonymous usage analytics. Firebase Analytics records which screens you visit and which buttons you tap, linked to an anonymous Firebase Installation ID, to help us understand which features you use.
- *Crash and performance data. Firebase Crashlytics captures crashes including device model, OS version, and stack trace. No personal information, no PII.
What we DON'T collect
- Phone number, location, contacts, photos, health data, browsing history.
- IDFA or any advertising identifier.
Account / Sign In
- *Anonymous mode (default). Without Apple Sign In, Firebase still creates an Anonymous Auth ID so your courses and progress can be saved to the cloud. This ID is not linked to your real identity.
- *Apple Sign In. If you sign in, your Anonymous account is upgraded and linked to your Apple ID. Your email and name (only if shared) become part of your Firebase Auth profile.
